Testing, one, two three . . . I tried out my rental G* phone today for the first time, and was absolutely astounded at how well it works. My friends couldn't believe that I was talking via satellite. The voice quality was clear as a bell, with no variations, and no background noise. In addition to making calls from outdoors, with a clear view of the sky, I also tried it indoors. I have a two story wood frame house with standard shingled roof, and vinyl siding. On the upper floor, the signal strength was strong everywhere. On the first floor, signal was strong only near windows. I can honestly say that any doubts I may have had about Globalstar have been dispelled. This is a great product. It is just a matter of time until word of mouth from users will accelerate growth exponentially.
