We'd love to have you in Texas, but the storms here are as bad or worse than other places, but we can usually see them coming from a long ways off. :-) One came through last night and knocked me off-line.. the radar didn't show anything within about 50 miles, and an electrical storm hit,, 15 minutes later, it rained for about 10 minutes. Pretty strange. Course in a couple of months, we'll be praying for rain.

Ah, Louisiana! We can give you warm and REAL muggy! Storms are generally not too hostile, except the kind that rumble in off the Gulf (but we can see 'em coming.) Best of all, the ground stays in one place!
