For what it's worth...I watched ROBtv last night. A question about ATI was asked of Steven Meisner of the CI Canadian Small Company fund. He speculated that investors may not have received the real reasons for the huge crunch in the current quarter....He thought we might gradually hear the real reasons over the next few weeks...

Edward,

Believe me I'd be the first to agree there is always an angle where it comes to brokers' reports. The thing I think is noteworthy here is that some long-time bulls have greatly reduced their expectations for ATY. These were "friends" of the company that have now taken a wait and see approach more than anything. I wouldn't count Yorkton in that group. They seem to be often at one extreme or another, trying to keep the trade volumes going. Remember too though that it's always the analyst that makes boldest call that has the most to gain career wise. That could be the Yorkton guy's motivation too. Most analysts start average and end average or worse. The only guys who achieve any status are the guys who stick their necks out with the bolder calls. Be interesting to see how it all plays out. For me though, I think it's better to be a spectator rather than a speculator in ATI the next 3-4 months.
