I took this off the Q rocket thread, an was posted by a person that has credibility, imho> Watts jprincesss 5/27/00 11:03 am just e-mailed me back. ( I asked him in his opinion what percentage chance would GSM vs CDMA get deployed in china ).After his last article basically "writing off" CDMA, he just wrote : " I have never had such a hard time getting a grasp on anything concrete in my career. Just after writing this article I talked with an insider at Ericisson and he told me CDMA will be implemented in China...so I guess if I were to put odds on GSM vs CDMA I would say 51% CDMA would lead but is my limit." then he went on to talk some niceties and personal stuff, like he liked my e-mail, etc, china, etc...
