Mr. Greenjeans,
It does look like some elements of the economy have been moderated by the interest rate hikes. It also looks like the liquidity tightening has slowed the speculation in the naz. (Astute, that last statement.)

I have been thinking: the inflation in wages and other employment compensation will take longer to moderate. Looking back, wages and compensation only recently began to accelerate beyond a sustainable level. Last in, last out.

If there is validity to my thinking, we may need the employment numbers showing a strong reversal before Greenie is comfortable again.
