Oh, my. Oh, my. Somebody needs to learn to curb his tongue, lest it get him into big trouble. As I tell my kids, you can think whatever you want, but you don't have to say it.

Which may be a good segue into something I was just mulling over, being snotty about the word divan. I probably should not have done that. You never know whether there is a divan person on the thread, and it's just not nice to be snotty about something that innocent. If I have unwittingly slighted any divan person, please forgive me. Or kick me.

Remember when I was snotty about men who wear tasselled loafers? Yikes. I should learn to talk about myself, and not about others. If I can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Back to your friend. I admit I have noticed, at times, that a woman has a very bouncy chest, and even mentioned it to someone, sotto voce, or been present when someone mentioned it, but never directly to the bouncy lady's face. Of course, if your friend was in a go-go bar, sans spouse, I suppose it's ok.

This person said to the waitress, waitperson, server,

"Your chest bounces a lot."

Gee. are you sure this wasn't an "audio problem"....?

I believe he/she actually said, "Do you get many checks that bounce?" but the sound waves got jumbled up...
