I don't know if that statement is true,as written, because the incidence of female mutilation in North America is very low, though it has increased with immigration from Eastern countries--- and thus if a pure number were used as a comparison it would obviously be much lower than the pure number of male circumcisions. Or are you saying that the percentage of dysfunction from male circumcision is higher than the percentage of dysfunction from female mutilation? But either way, it just further supports my opinion that these procedures are barbaric. Are you agreeing with me that this IS a barbaric practice for both male and female? In which case, then, you certainly would not be blas‚ about the ugliness of FGM.
