I am in full agreement with you about the US interfering with another country's business. But this doesn't mean that we as individuals should not speak out against barbaric customs, and I support the UN's efforts to put a stop to the practice. As for the case in the article this morning that Karen posted, I think it is an excellent example of how complicated these situations can get, just as the Elian case has shown us. I hope that the loophole referred to, which would allow the mother to stay here, with her daughter, will be found.
