This is happening independently of ATHM or AOL.... The bottleneck is always beyond ATHM's network.

This is the whole point. The bottlenecks are beyond ATHMs network. So bring the content onto ATHM's network and bypass the bottlenecks. I can't believe Yahoo has facilitated a BB network on the scale of ATHM's.

The DOJ decree marks the end of competition (or aggregation) at the NDSP level, which could lead to greater cooperation among the MSOs.

"ATHM is in the delivery business."

Hi Ah- Speaking of delivery...I was only half listening to an AT&T commercial the other day. But what I did hear was a little disturbing. There are many commercials that label the service AT&T@Home. For the first time, I heard the words "AT&T broadband." Not all commercials (including the new ones) have taken on this new name. But...is this possibly a new trend? If so, why?
