The Kelster..

what a terrific short story...it made me smile broadly...

what?, you were sitting next to me for 3-4 years???

fits me to a tee...

from being a buy and holder, to a swing-position type trader, i am now a daytrader...a metamorphous if you will..

it took a long time to truly understand a ton of stuff pertaining to me..just me...finally, after a titantic struggle..i have come to grips with who i am, and how i trade...

this thread has been useful and instrumental in my movement...my great admiration goes out to all who trade for a living..it's tough...hard work, but very rewarding in the end...

my one lucky event was meeting and mentoring with Teresa Lo...a special person, gifted, bright and beautiful...a real god send for me...to this day i still marvel at her uncanny thinking as she reads the charts and predicts the next move...

so all in all it's been a long and arduous road...but...i see the lite at the end of tunnel...

when i wrote that article in Active Trader Magazine..they put a picture in there, of me with my fist in the air..looking like a lunatic...thats me<G>...emotional still, but controlled...excited with my knowledge...

using Point and Figure charting has surely helped me, and now candlesticks..Teresa, and recently 3 months ago i had the distinct good fortune of meeting Oliver Velez and Greg Capra of Pristine .com...super traders, and super nice people willing to show me and others even more about trading the charts and such...they can trade with the best of them...

all and all..even at 59 it has surprised me as to this on going education of trading the markets technically...i understand now...and will move forward using these new and exciting techniques..

The Kelster, i loved this post from you..it's exactly how us novices became traders of the markets...scalper du jours...yeah i can scalp..and smile now...

best regards..and enjoyed every word...OJ
