SliderOnTheBlack,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the AEM thread. Hope you were buying on Friday, as I sure was, in increments as I have been since the low 6's. Except I bought a lot more "increments" on Friday alone, VBG.

I just pulled out my ESV and VTS charts from 99 to use as reference here (probably have to time compress them) for AEM. Those were my two big screw ups in the OSX stocks, (excluding FGH!) where I caught the exact bottom (heavily) and then sold too too much for 20-30%, only to kick myself later as they headed for three and four baggers.
I will of course be looking at these and others as a comparison for the likelihood of such a move with AEM.

Whether gold will have long legs I don't know yet, I'm still studying, I actually had to go into storage to pull out the dusty musty yellowing gold bull charts. Heck, the ones from 93 are hand drawn.

In any case I'm getting ready. I've pulled one third of my long term funds (money markets/DOW type mutuals) which I consider my reserves last week and put it in my trading account. Another third goes in this week. That nearly triples my account and is something I have never done before.

I'm getting ready to rock!

Best Regards,

Roebear

Great to have some new blood posting. look at this stuff,

gold-eagle.com

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

After reading this stuff, I think ( zinc ) ABX would want the new production, I might even be right,

The full benefits of the expansion to 5,000 tons per day are not expected to be realized until 2001 when
much of the
initial development of the lower gold-rich portion of Zone 20 North is completed. Gold production is expected to
reach 221,000
ounces in 2001 at a cash cost of US$133 per ounce and is expected to exceed 300,000 ounces per annum in 2002 at
a cash cost of
US$115 per ounce.

this is one super long term gold hold, if gold starts to firm up, could be a 3 to 5 bagger.
