not familiar with reits, and depends very much what they own and were ..... I know they are at deppressed prices prefer the old economy such as DD, DOW, MMM all having also an high tech component, ADM for food and some pharmaceuticals (but they already had their run).

I have a few REITs in my portfolio - ARI, AMLI, EQR, and HCN. They have good yields, along with some utilities I have (SO, NCE, AEE). AWK also good. My only "tech" right now is EMR. GOLD is my yellow metal holding.
