Buck,

<< It should be a good Cup final >>

Best of luck to the Stars in the upcoming series. It should be a great matchup.

The last 2 minutes of game 7 against Denver were what the game is all about.

I watch considerably less western hockey than eastern, but the Stars have, IMO, a better club than the Devils, (and the late but distinguished Flyers).

But the Devils should give it a go. They are settling in under the coaching transition to Larry Robinson, one of the all time defensive greats of the game. Devil's captain, Scott Stevens is at the peak of a magnificent game, and will provide some thrills.

You will learn to hate the high stick that Claude Lemieux always carries with him in the tradition of other great warriors like Bobby Clarke.

Altogether, it should be a great series. Advantage Stars. Six games.

<< I hope Lindros makes it back >>

I have mixed emotions about this. 6 major career concussions and 4 in 2 months is just not worth it. I am convinced that if he does come back, it will not be in Flyers uniform. The tension between his agent dad and Bobby Clarke is unreal. I have been in awe of Eric, in every game he has played since breaking in, just as I was of Bobby Orr when he played his rookie season while I was down the street in college, and when Gretsky broke in for the Oilers. I am afraid Eric's playing days are over, just as Orr's career was cut short by bad knees. A shame.
