So when the time comes, if A time comes, when roll out is threatened by competition from 'other then cable' highspeed networks; and IF speed becomes an issue, marketing plays the above tune loud and clear. LOUD AND CLEAR.

Yes, but that ain't cheap to enable and CNN can't identify enough revenue to justify it. Better to push the inconvenience of the cloud onto users and damn be to competitive considerations.


I think they would find justification if MSN did what I suggested. ATHM should make it cheap for a few to have direct access so that they can develop a differentiated service.
