Pete, I just turned on WABC (11 am Sunday) to get the Saturday replay. They are playing LAST Saturday's show (Flannigan!) Oh well. Dick

Pete: Re: "Instead of buying QQQ, what are your thoughts about buying UOPIX to get twice the return bang for the invested buck ?"

No problem with the UOPIX IMO. I should add Brinker is not on record at this point for this kind of strategy.

In your position -- looking to buy --- I would shop the QQQs hard during the day. If it looks like we are going to a bad close, hold off on anymore QQQs and go with the UOPIX. Just make sure you find out the latest you can put an order in to get the closing price.

FWIW, May 31st and early June is historically a strong period in the Naz. I have mentioned this seasonality issues previously and they have not made any difference probably because the bear was biting over the past few months. Assuming the market has bottomed short term, perhaps the market will behave more in line with historical norms. Keep this in the back of your mind.

Also keep in the back of your mind that the minimum gain from Naz 3174 is projected to be 20%. IMO, the magnitude of the gain over and above that -- if any -- will be determined in large part by the amount of mania accompanying the rally.
