Tom, I always laugh out loud when I read ignorant letters like that. As if the only place to make money was in the stock market and if you weren't fully invested there, you are a loser. Meanwhile, my platinum calls and palladium futures and yen calls made much higher returns than even the most aggressive stock fund at much lower risk levels. But, when you deal with the glaucoma-brained, those are the kinds of letters you see.

You point up the bull's fallacy: the stock market was up because there was NO inflation. So, if you bought money funds, you could not have lost money. Except for the fact that the no inflation was a big fat lie. <g>
