The secondary was priced at $73.50 and completed on May 10.

FWIW, there is no control over the market price of a stock regardless of the existence of a secondary offering. The market continues to set the price and the folks that buy in the SPO takes the same up-down price risk as the rest of us (except that usually the secondary gets priced slightly below the then current market price).

VSH would have had the cash on 5-13-00 and I expect that they have already reduced their debt with the proceeds. This should be accretive effect to earnings.
