Cat... I tried your suggestion, but the outcome is the same...no data :~( I want to establish and update my files locally....on my own hard drive. As nearly as I can tell, I don't think I've transferred the data on the CD that came with Metastock to my harddrive, and i don't think that the download of QP2 that I did last night covered any more than the last few business days. Nothing is prompting me to access any other medium for data, and another review of the instructions yields me no clues. When you first set up your Metastock, do you remember what you did to initially get the data on your hardrive?....and how have you been updating your files since then?....what data provider do you use? Questions, questions, questions....sorry to be a pest....just wanted to start playing with the charts and different combinations of indicators and am frustrated! Thanks again! Timba
