They don't have enough of anything to interest us the way Saudi Arabia interests us. Not much free speech in Kuwait either, but we saw fit to fight a war over it. I'm not saying we shouldn't follow our interests, but it's clear that Cuba is singled out for special treatment not given to other repressive regimes ( what's that big country to the north of Taiwan? We loooove those guys, and they're so much better than Castro, right?). You think if 6 year old Beijing Billy arrived on these shores in the same way as Elian, we'd hesitate to send him Peking...er, packing? Double standards of the world, unite!
