Evo, The web site is still up, but hasn't been updated in a few months. I don't even know how to take the web site down, much less update it. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure where it is hosted...guess someone will send me a invoice some day.

The newsletter was discontinued March 15. In 3-4 weeks I will share the 'rest of the story' why I stopped doing it.

Thanks to all of you that have had such kind remarks about the newsletter. I do miss it.

The portfolio I talk about...The Oily Dog Fund... is just something that I did ad hoc on March 7. I wanted to participate in what I saw to be a great time to buy oil company stocks, so I created a little basket of 10 and set up the model fund as a buy and hold fund with equal dollar amount of each stock. Here are the stocks:

TX CHV UPR BR BSNX TLM AOG P MRO XTO

To date the Oily Dog fund is up 44.22% -- it held up quite well this past week.

To update the unofficial, yet very fun bet with Slider:

PKD is up 11.79% from the day of the bet, while
FLC is down 8.26% from the mark date.

PKD has slipped a bit, but is holding up well. And of course it is ahead of FLC...which is what really counts. :)
