JG Cordes,

You stated...

"...ten times the company" is a vague claim on wall street these days..."

This is an expression. It is not meant to be a statement that actually quantitates anything.
Not revenues. Not market share. Not unit production.
It in not meant to be precise. It is not meant to be vague.
It is something between vague and precise, perhaps.
It is a figure of speech.

There is a certain degree of vagueness that was intended when I wrote that. The actual details are in the upcoming report. The expression was used just to get your attention.

I guess it did the trick.

It was also meant to set the (proverbial) bar high for the discussion that follows. It is not a real bar. This is also just a figure of speech. I hope that I can surpass the standard that has been set. I hope that you will hold me to it.

""Ten times the company" is a vague claim on wall street these days, especially as growth and earnings will be more significant than market share, size, or ideas after this selloff. This is true for all stocks, most particularly with the techs.

JG Cordes...here is my attempt to prove that SanDisk is in a
much more advantageous position than it was in August of 1999.

Again, "10 times the company" was written as a figure of speech
with some license, not as an exact quantitation...
