Doug,

Welcome to the thread. I hope AMD will deliver a very good birthday present for you on June 5:

There are big announcements on 5 June, and journalists, in Europe at least, are being flown to Dresden. There's also an announcement on the same day in Taipei, round about the time our Cathay Pacific plane touches down.

Welcome,
RE:"Hi there, big-time lurker (previously) here. So I've been following this rumor about 1.5 Ghz with more than the usual interest this weekend."

It's possible the Dresden copper process is a .13u-.18u hybrid.

Hello Doug,

Re:...big-time lurker (previously) here.

Welcome to the thread, I guess many of us were lurkers before joining. It's contagious to read the SI thread, makes you wanna join.

Hope the rumor of .15 copper at Dresden is true and I hope that you have the happiest June 5th birthday you have ever had! There will be a whole lot of happy people celebrating on June 5th if some of these rumors are true. The interesting thing is that the possibility of these rumors being true around AMD is totally feasible, look how well the transition from .25 to .18 went at Austin.

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
