Oh well, tell your wife and kid about it.
Something happened at work last week that REALLY made me think about my age.
I usually don't...
but the place is swarming with just graduated interns from a local college(wimmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmpy college...the wusses had to be PC so they changed the name from Warriors to Golden Eagles!)...
And somehow the conversation turned to one of the PR interns talking about a speech she heard...it identified the different 'generations'(baby boomers, gen x, gen y, etc)
They started blasting my boss, who is my age, calling her the materialistic, work till you die type.
They said WE care about our free time, family comes first, we SAVE our money.
I shook my head and said I was a baby boomer, I think...but I am nothing like what you describe.
It really made me realize that I was in an older generation...
a generation that don't say "Sweet!"...
I say, "neat" or "cool"
Gads I feel old!
