Thanks for the detailed reply, you know your stuff.

According to news reports, the Miami family was acting while under counsel. Their attorney's were in the house even during the raid. It's been asserted that the family was outside the law when clearly IMO they were making good faith efforts to employ the law. Either way the issue should have never gone outside the courts, otherwise it comes down to who has the biggest gun. Something that I don't want in our country

Just saw on 60 min. tonight, we only get the 60 min version where I live :-). In one of the segments Reno was criticized over the handling of the Miranda rights issue. There was an interesting comment on the segment. I'll paraphrase as follows ... "it's not the Justice Department's job to interpret the law, but to ensure public safety." This in regards to Reno's defense of use of Miranda.

Does this woman know what she's doing? Just wondering...
