Your top 10 list of used software is cute, but I don't think Outlook has won hearts with the recent press coverage of WSH virus'es. Maybe a virus can play MS Hearts against me and win...

The fun part with the list you have is, that if the list would count the number of different users that use one program on a machine, summed for all computers, the most widely used program would probably be Apache...

How can Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word be on the same list?

If InstallShield is counted as the number of installation programs run, that are made using InstallShield, why isn't a tool like C++ or Visual Basic on the list?

Media Metrix has an interesting view on software.
