Yes quite a few Legal Issues Involved Here. Checks made payable to who? Was an escrow set up? Were checks cashed in CA and under what account? etc.. Didnt go back and read thread to far back but Has Matt Tyson spoke out regarding this issue?

If AP is acting as an agent collecting money for Mother Terresa Foundation there are LAWS that also must be adhered to but Im sure he knows this.

Well the Mother teresa organization doesn't operate in california, so that particular law doesn't seem to apply.

If Tony paid out money to refugees located in California, as he claims he did, I think some might argue Mother Thereza was in fact operating in California.

I smell trouble in San Diego...

First of all the Mother Theresa organization does operate in california. Their address is Missionaries of
Charity 164 Milagra Dr. Pacifica, Ca. 94044 tel.650-355-3091

My recollection of the situation was this. Many people wanted to contribute something to the problem in Kosovo immediately and wire money. However to wire $100 to Kosovo costs something like $25. Therefore the idea came up to send the money to Matt and have him wire one big amount, since it's not that much more expensive to wire $10,000 than to wire $100. The thought that the money wouldn't be immediately sent along with the matching funds I don't think ever occurred to anyone.
