pure Si-28 wafers Jozef, You were probably right when you stated that the T-birds could not be based on the "Bulk" wafers. These are the ones you need to lower the temperature and they are not available in large numbers yet. (although 800 wafers a week is not that much) Maybe the epi Si-28 wafers can help to get faster transistors because they improve the gate characteristics. The SiO2 gate layer can be made thinner (<= 2 nm) and less rough. (= less carrier scattering = higher speed) Regards. Hans
