Mama Bear is taking some heat for her post, undeservedly I feel. The story she re-posted is sad, sad indeed. I don't think her posting it as an example of investor denial is cold-hearted. It is an extreme example of denial - and valuable to post for that reason. That she didn't mention the tragic aspects, but only the human frailty, does not indicate that she is cold-hearted or evil-spirited. To me it means that Mama Bear tries to find the real truth, regardless of social propriety - this is invaluable. But as she has aptly said recently, why do we now spend more time commenting on other people's posts, morals, etc., then we do discussing investing? peter
