It's really sad when people like you can't stand the truth being told to help others.

My very first impression of your response was that you belonged back in the world of OZ as the Tin Man...
...No Brain... No Heart...
Now, I think you are just plain S I C K!

"I found this one to be one of the most callous, not to mention pompous"

I'm really not sure how you came up with that conclusion. Pardon me if I don't shed any tears for those who think that words posted on the 'net and not their own greed led to their downfall.

Regards,

Barb

Mama Bear is taking some heat for her post, undeservedly I feel. The story she re-posted is sad, sad indeed. I don't think her posting it as an example of investor denial is cold-hearted.

It is an extreme example of denial - and valuable to post for that reason. That she didn't mention the tragic aspects, but only the human frailty, does not indicate that she is cold-hearted or evil-spirited.

To me it means that Mama Bear tries to find the real truth, regardless of social propriety - this is invaluable.

But as she has aptly said recently, why do we now spend more time commenting on other people's posts, morals, etc., then we do discussing investing?
