A couple, I guess.
First, I think the MTH is soldered to the CC820 Mobo. If that's the case the new MTH probably isn't of value to solving the recall problem as an end user chip swap out. (Think it uses a BGA package). Tenchusatsu will know the answer to this one.
Secondly, it appears that Intel is still committed to the CC820 solution for PC133. Don't know what the implications are since I thought the 815 was going to be the CC820 replacement. How long will we see both?
Don't know the cost and implementation issues around a mobo rework, but could the new MTH's also be intended for that?
