Happy Memorial Day, JDN. --- Yesterday, Sugar Magnolia and I had a fun field trip. We looped from north of the Goldern Gate south through the Taco Bell on the beach in Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, over and back north hitting brew stops and the Giants game at Pac Bell Park along the way. I ran into several WWII vets in uniform in the City who just wanted to tell people about their associations during that time. I learned everything there is to know about a Vallejo class submarine, yesterday. We also pulled into the National Cemetary in Daly City (south of SF), but didn't get out and walk around. It was *very awesome though. --- You're right. There wasn't much observance by the general public (including me). I was surprized there wasn't more happening at the National Cemetary. --- Thanks for serving JDN. Welcome home. -JCJ
