Hello AL,

I don't believe I've ever welcomed you to the thread, Welcome!!!

Re: I am not so sure, as it would push Intel to up the ante with Willy and intensify a war not good for either company.

Have you ever observed a football quarterback fumble the ball when being rushed by a couple of big linebackers? I don't think *ntel has much left to "up the ante with Willy". Throwing money at a situation doesn't always buy a better solution, and in particular doesn't necessarily make the solution come about sooner.

As for starting a war...we are and have been locked in mortal combat with the competition for some time now. There's nothing etched in stone that says *ntel should have 82% of the market. Jerry says he wants 30%...that's war!

I've enjoyed your posts from the past and looking forward to more. Once again...Welcome!

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
