Fosback's SML title IS in print

I'm happy to see Norm's classic (IMO) is still in print. Thanks.

your generic statement: "indicators dull over time and it's probably a good thing."

The exact quote without the link was
Unfortunately, the book I used to learn about indicators is no longer available, but perhaps that's for the best since the usefulness of indicators changes with time.

Since I learned from an older edition of the book, I was thinking of the odd lot sentiment indicators that have (IMO) largely been superseded by listed option indicators. On a different but related note any indicators usefulness varies with time (again IMO) which is one of the reasons for using several indicators of the same general category.

If I may ask have you used any of the "systems" you listed? Also are they "Black box", "Grey box" or "White box"? Do any of them use Chaos Theory, neural nets or other such niceties? Assuming one knows how to program, how extensible are they? Do any of them allow access to the source code? My knowledge of canned systems is very limited, but I believe in "learning new tricks".

Hanging around...
