I have a Northpoint DSL line. Works pretty good. Sometimes I go fast sometimes I go slow. Install was very bad. 3 dispatches, wife took three days off work. Each time nobody showed up and when I called they said nobody was home so the tech left. The wife didn't like that much as she never left the house. After the phone tech installed the NP guy showed up on time. He terminated the line and left. Didn't work as the DSLAM wasn't mapped. Multiple calls to NP and they fixed it. Then they configured it for a slower speed than I contracted. Made them do it right while I was on the phone. It works.

Still don't have ATHM at the other house. The utility company doesn't want the cable company to put stuff on the poles. Now they are selling telephony return. I ain't buying. Don't want no telephony return.
