Not at all. Solaris is no home desktop OS. I come from a DOS background. Specifically, I come from a DOS BBS/Comm background. I'm here to tell you that Windows has never delivered what it promised to do with multitasking or serial communications. In my experience, it's always been crap and will always *be crap. --- But, I'm one of those people who believe the OS should be off of the desktop altogether for most users. We're talking about yesterday's issues. -JCJ
