Would appreciate if the geology minded among us would comment on the following. STARCORE RESOURCES LTD ("SOE-V") - Samuel Lake PGE Results Ralph Brown, President of Starcore Resources Ltd. (the "Company") announces that it has proposed to its joint venture partner, ProAm Exploration, an exploration programme on its Samuel Lake Platinum, Palladium, Gold, Copper, Nickel property in Northern Ontario. This programme will concentrate on the North-east part of the property, with particular reference to the Platinum and Palladium values received by sampling, trenching and drilling in the three previous programmes. This programme will begin shortly. The grab sample assays were as follows: Sample No. Pl & Pd & Au OGS 4.2 grams 91924 10.35 grams 91923 .77 grams 91886 4.0 grams 91887 4.3 grams 91888 4.5 grams 91903 3.5 grams 91904 4.7 grams 91905 3.4 grams 91906 4.8 grams The trenching sample assays were as follows: Length Pl & Pd & Au Cu Sample Meters (grams) % SWP.1 1.4 - 2.2 1.66 grams .0624% SWP.2 2.2 - 3.0 2.89 grams .1549% SWP.3 3.0 - 4.0 2.66 grams .1905% SWP.4 4.0 - 4.8 4.13 grams .4862% The 1998 and 1999 programmes involved 13 holes drilled in a southerly direction into a strong conductor. The best results were obtained from Hole No.3 which produced assays of 69.43 meters grading .22% Cu, .15% Ni and 0.74 grams P.G.M.'s and another zone producing .82% Cu, .64% Ni and .8 grams P.G.M.'s over 46 meters. These holes also produced Platinum and Palladium values up hole closer to the area that was sampled and trenched as follows: Length Pl & Pd & Au Hole Number Meters (grams) 2 1.0 1.2 grams 5 8.25 1.65 grams 9 4.6 .657 grams including 1.65 3.0 grams 10 3.8 .855 grams Further downhole in holes number 3, 5, 8, 11 and 12 P.G.M. values were also encountered. An example of this is hole No.8 which encountered .60 grams over 45 meters. This programme will concentrate on stripping and further trenching this Northeast section of the property including a large eastern section which has not been previously explored. This section is underlain by pyroxonite which hosts the favourable P.G.M. values found in the trenching. Due to the focus of previous exploration programmes on the promising Cu & Ni results the P.G.M. mineralization in the Northeast section of the property has not received proper attention even though these P.G.M. values are consistently higher than those reported by other exploration programmes in the Thunder Bay area. Drilling has begun on the Lac Legris property. This 13,000 acre property ties on to the North American Palladium mine in Northern Ontario. It is a 50/50 joint venture with Avalon Ventures Ltd.
