Dan, Since I am an option trader, the opportunities for me during a bear market will still be there. For the savvy stock investor there will be some opportunities as you mentioned. But for the average investor who will ride out the bear market or sell at the bottom will have to wait until the market fully recovers, so for them there is not alot. seeya
