OH dear, I thought I was being old Rambi! I wonder if she's dead. You will appreciate what Ammo is doing in the poolhouse. He has bought a second set of drums and has now two base drums, four smaller toms, and two other floor toms, six or more cymbals, and various other things that make noise, and he wants to be Mike Portnoy. There are broken drumsticks everywhere. The garage is a disaster area of PVC pipe. He is building some kind of percussion instrument that Blue Man Group used. He has carefully cut all the lengths and tuned them to make a full 12 tone scale and built a big wooden horse stand to hold them. And there are big garbage cans all over flecked with fluorescent paint from his other act- where he has one of the band members pour paint onto the upturned cans and light them with a blacklight while he drums on them, making big geysers of glow in the dark color. I worry. This is not going to look great on a college application. (Oh, wait! FOrget that Merit Scholar valedictorian! Here's the kid we want! He can catch marshmallows in his mouth and he wants to be a Blue Man when he grows up)
