Hello Gopher and Chic, Re: AMD's timing on this has been truly superb. As Hector said at the annual meeting, "AMD engineers are world class and second to none." I think that's absolutely true. With my hat in hand, they have my full respect, appreciation, and admiration. Jerry also said of building a new fab plant: "It's like having and elephant". Since an elephant's gestation period is about two years, "You start and two years later you see what you've got". How Jerry convinced the Board of Directors two years ago to start Dresden I'll never know, part intuition, part genius, and part luck I suppose. The fact remains that Dresden is in place and producing. It looks good so far, we'll know a lot more in the coming months. I'm looking forward to it. Kindest regards, CrazyMan
