It means strong incentive for every programmer and his buddies to come up with something to draw away some of that revenue. And since the cost of entry is so trivial relative to the reward, there will be no shortage of talented entrepreneurs getting into all of these high margin areas. 40% margins to Yahoo is not as defensible as 40% for AMAT ot INTC. And regarding the insulting remark, if this was a moderated thread, I'd be convening the junta right now.
