My cards both expire late next year, lots of time for shenanigans.

And I disagree; marketers would love to get their hands on such lists. I bet some of these
bankrupt co's will sell them to their competitors- they have nothing to lose- they're going out
of business !!

I am in agreement that there have been many startup firms that used their stock to make the insiders wealthier. However, real retailers, as a huge majority are very honest and ethical. If you wish to find a group of devious people, deal with the "average" customer. I am not guessing at this one.
