Therefore, I remain optimistic that the bull market in U.S. equities will resume as the year progresses making achieving higher highs by year-end. My year-end targets remain 12,500 on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, 1,625 on the S&P 500 and 5,500 on the NASDAQ composite.

Ibexx, standard Joe B. optimism. I think he's encouraged by the latest employment, durable goods (down 6.7%) and other numbers, thinks the Fed is either done or will go back to gradualism, like "only" 1/4% next. But, probably Joe being Joe. When I first saw his face on TV a little over 3 years ago, he was predicting 7000 on the DOW in less than a year. People almost passed out, but he was right and has been correctly bullish ever since. We'll see.
