I argue with myself all the time- not generally in front of mirrors though. And of course I respect myself. I can tell you don't do this yourself, as you suggest it as some sort of insult, but I think it's healthy to examine your own ideas and respect yourself. It is too bad that my lack of respect for your ideas hurts your pride so badly.
