Huh? Are gorillas supposed to be devoid of competition, especially when there are pre-existing technologies for which the gorilla's product is the discontinuous innovation?

To answer the first question, no, it's not the worst thing that can happen. It's just another delay tactic. There have been many in the past and there will be many more in the future.

To answer second question, yes, that is supposed to happen to a gorilla. The fact that all of the opposition repeatedly gangs together against Qualcomm shows how fromidable this Gorilla is for its competitors offering different technologies.
