All depends if you're talkin' about the DOW or the NAZ...January was a great call for the DOW high. The NAZ is a different animal...more shorting and more manipulation. I also think a bottom is in for now... SR

brinker does not deal in the nasdaq per se but more so in the s&p an wlishire 5000....his call was based in janurary on his belief that he saw only a small chance of going 5% higher an a large chance of going 20% or greater on the down side....he also deals with a different audience than rande does here an was trying to save his audience the pain of losing the gains he got for them over the last couple of years.....Rande was definetely much more precise in his calls by saying to get out in march ....brinker's call was not to go to all cash either but 60% cash...brinker also doesn't think we have reached a bottom yet an that after this next bear market rally we will again resume the bear...everybody has to make their own decision...right?..i just have been following brinker an his broad market calls for a couple years an thought that it might be important to convey the fact of him changing his direction temporarily....an posted a link to his weekend show so that anybody that might be interested could listen an come to their own conclusion.......redwood
