That may be, but it does not precisely mean that people cease to believe, merely that they find ways of ameliorating the aspects that can cause conflict, such as an insistence on imposing shariah on non- Muslims, which, incidentally, is not even traditional.....As I am sure that you are aware, the religious aspect of many of these conflicts is merely a proxy for political and economic conflicts, or, at least, it is difficult to disentangle the aspects which are strictly religious from the other aspects.......
