Delbert, I really believe X may have a non-intellectual side. I think you fail to appreciate the strength of the insult (or its personal nature) when you refer to religions and believers in terms that have been common here. You seem like a person who might celebrate and defend the preservation of tribal cultures. Nearly all of these have strong spiritual identities. I don't imagine you interacting with such people by declaring them ignorant and superstitious fools. M
