Who knows when the bull will end..maybe it has. Trader Vic has some great work on the average duration of a market move. He looks at it like insurance, in life insurance terms the bull market is a 96 year old smoker whos been doing half a pack of Camels a day for the past 80 years. Not a good bet. Who knows when the move down will end. A down move, like an upmove, just kind of ends when it ends. In the mean time its probably best to play intraday trends and not throw your money around bargin hunting. If you would like to bargin hunt I own about 9 acres in Blaine, Minnesota. Ill give it to you, the problem is its a toxic dump and will cost about $7 million to clean it up. I know this wont mean much to equities guys, especially those whove made a killing, but there is no such thing as value. Things go where the go and it ends when it ends. This one cost me about $60,000 to figure out too. Margin call all kinds of yuck when i thought Hogs and Beans cant go below the price of production. They did...I thought my eyes where playing tricks on me. Do your self a favor. Calm down on the bargin hunting biz. Its bad news. If Im wrong its my fault, if not you saved a lot of money..cant lose :).
