Random thoughts part 2653

Sergio is in two very funny commercials. Have you seen them?

The first he is in a Benz convertible burning done the road while listening to a tape on how to speak English. He is learning all those locker room phrases like Meat learned in Bull Durham, "I didn't have my A game that day, I am just glad to be able to play this fine course etc, etc." Very funny stuff. The bumper sticker says, "I would rather be driving a Titleist".

The second he is paired with Ells in a pro-am and the guy they are playing with can't hit the ball, and when he does he smacks a blond in the head with his drive.

They are both on the Golf channel and catch them if you can.

I think one or two more week and Monte will pass Duval in the world ranking. Here is the points link.

I am still waiting for someone to explain Notah Begays swing. I am serious, I want to understand it and cannot. lol.

Have a good one all.

We were told that the Judge had just opened up three days ago, so it was really virgin territory as we played it. The par fours are the real killers. It seems we had wind in our face the whole day meaning driver and 3 woods, 2 irons, or the like into many of them. I just checked my bag and realized I forgot to bring a score card home from the Judge. I've got the other courses. The Senator at Capital Hill can play up to 7,794 yards from the tips. I suspect the Judge is even a tad further. We consistently played the orange tees which are their next to the back boxes and played around 6,800. Only the mentally insane would chew off 7,700!
