If Pocket PC can be delivered to store shelves for less than $300, then it will give Palm a run for its money. But my suspicion is that Micro$oft wants too much $$$ money for their still-bloated WindowsCE for this to happen.

I like my Handspring Visor because:

1. It runs the Palm OS making it compatible with Palm Pilots.

2. It is small- smaller than the smallest PocketPC.

3. It is "Instant-On"- no waiting for a Microsoft splash screen or boot-up.

4. The OS is stable.

5. Syncing with my iMac is no problem.

The only drawback with the Visor is the lack of promised Springboard modules to hit the market. I'm still waiting for the Mp3 player module that uses Sandisk MMC cards.

PocketPC's 3 main achilles heels are:

1. PRICE
