The Bible doesn't forbid much of anything, because it is all over the lot on almost everything. But the NEW testament is fairly specific that PEOPLE should not judge other PEOPLE. God gets to judge people (according to the NT) and not people. And by being judgmental over your "brothers" and "sister" you appear to be violating the NT. I've heard plenty of religious folk interpret it that way also. I believe the H man brought up the NT in the first place- so it of course amused me that he wasn't paying much attention to it.
